In business since 1963, Norm’s Door Service is the Omaha metro area’s premier dealer of Raynor and BuildMark residential and commercial garage doors and Liftmaster and Genie electric garage door openers and accessories. In addition to these featured products, Norm’s also services and repairs most major brands of garage doors and electric openers.
Norm started the company with one guiding principle in mind: good service at a fair price. We take pride in providing quality products and unsurpassed service, suited to every budget for residential and commercial needs. It’s our firm belief that it’s important to do one thing…and do it well. We specialize only in garage doors and their accessories, service, and safety products. Norm started the business out of the basement of his home back in 1963. Quickly outgrowing the basement, Norm moved the business to 72nd and "L" Street, next to King's Food Host. In 1971 his brother, Nile, joined the company. With the company continuing to grow at a brisk rate, a parcel of land was purchased, a building was constructed, and in 1978 the company moved to the present location at 8920 Washington Circle next to Ralston High School.
Norm’s daughter, Ruth, took the business reins in 2006 and became the company’s president. Ruth, like her Dad, has a passion for what she does and believes in the same principles that made Norm’s Door Service the area’s most reputable garage door business.

Norm’s Door Service has become the only residential and commercial garage door dealer in Omaha to be approved and licensed by Woman-Centric Matters SM. While, of course, we value and respect all our customers, we decided to make it a priority to give women exactly what they want and deserve from a door service company. To do this, we went to the experts in the field, Omaha’s own Design Basics and their specialized division, Woman-Centric Matters SM. They have helped us take a fresh, new look at our company and adapt a Woman-Centric approach to every aspect of our business.
